With the New Year upon us we thought it would be a good idea to go back to the basics for the sake of our most recent affiliates. So for those of you who have been around a while, you may want to skip ahead to this month's Merchant Specials. Though you never know what might prove useful.
Below are our seven basic steps to get started, that is, after you have chosen one or more affiliate programs that complement your site. You can reach the different affiliate programs by clicking on either "home" or "choose program" on the left hand menu on the Tradedoubler homepage.
Note: It is important that you enter your correct web site details in order to be verified and to maintain your commissions.
1. On the program information page you can read about the merchant and the program's commissions, and you can preview the available banners, buttons and text links through a link on this page.
2. Read through the Affiliate Agreement that you can find through a link at the bottom of the page. (This agreement is currently the same for each program.)
3. To join, click on the button "Apply to be an affiliate of this program."
4. You will then be sent an e-mail confirming your application has been received.
5. At this point you can add a link to your site and start generating revenue, however you should keep in mind that your application will still need to be approved by the merchant in order for you to be paid these funds.
6. Now you can earn money based on a combination of clicks, leads and sales, depending on the affiliate programs you choose. On the Tradedoubler homepage you will be able to see your balance and precisely what each program has generated for you and when.
7. You can always return to the Tradedoubler homepage and sign up to more affiliate programs.

Accucard has now increased affiliate commissions to £20 for every completed application for an Accucard credit card which is instantly provisionally accepted (Previously £15).
